Yep, Peavey is Peavey again!! I think that was the right thing to do. All that "we've grown up" posiery was crap... Own your gag and fly your banner.Did Peavey go back to their old logo? The amp looks really modern otherwise.

Yeah, then they must've. That's a cool design. I like the grille wrapping around to the top. I also prefer their old logo.
I've always liked it too. My first amps, in the 90s, were Peaveys. Very happy with this one too
The grill is made that way because, technically, it's a tiltback amp - it's just internal, so the cabinet can sit flat.

Thunderbird spotted in Lydia Lunch documentary trailer.
Can we take a vote on that?Him and Justin Bieber... You can keep them both.
Of all the TBirds I've owned and played, I've never actually played or heard one of the active ones. How do you like it? I assume it's a fair departure from your VP birds, is that correct?
Love or hate the sound, there's one thing everyone agrees on when it comes to vintage Peavey combos - they are indestructible! Peavey and cockroaches will be all that's left after a nuclear holocaust. Not sure about the logo change, but it's one of the new(er?) Peaveys, the Max 250 (15"). I bought it new, November last year.

Very cool design on the internal tilt back. I have a 15" Ampeg tilt back combo and it's not nearly as stable tilted back as it is sitting flat. I might need to start paying more attention to Peavey gear.I've always liked it too. My first amps, in the 90s, were Peaveys. Very happy with this one too

I have often been more than mildly impressed with the tone and solid delivery of Peavey amplification..

Thunderbird sighting !
This song is turning out to be my LS favorite. Covered it in my acoustic guitar duo with a ladyfriend singer a few weeks ago and got to appreciate this song much better. Feels like a religious experience, at some point.
Not mine, but this was my main rock rig for years in the early 80s. Sounded really good.Very cool design. Peavey used to make killer amps, glad to see their stuff going around again. My brother still something like this, dates back to the early 80s.

I wasn't aware AC/DC ever had birds on stage or in their recordings.

...II and IV goodness, all I need now is a 10 string for the Dr Pepper trifecta. (The older crowd might get that reference).
