Thunderbird Club

Finally got a video from the Bemo's show where my 2013 PB NR is being used by Steve the bassist in my kids' band, Katalyst. The sound came out horrible and I've had better audio recording with my iPhone. I'm kicking myself for not recording the show myself.

I was hoping that with it being over a week later I'd have more of their show but I'll ask Jeffro(yes, that's his real name) about more video the next time I see him.

Anyway, my sons are Dom(19) on vocals and rhythm and Dave(15) on drums. Steve(21) on bass and Darren(15) on lead guitar.

Even if you don't like the band, the genre or the song... it's worth watching for Dave's drum playing and Darren's guitar playing. These 15 y/o kids are amazing!

Great performance! Too bad the recording had little bottom end to it, as metal is a genre that requires some meaningful presence in the bottom end.

tired of working on amps…..stuff like this is so much fun..

OK Chuck, what's with using the directions....? You're in danger of falling from the lofty pedestal we all have you on.:D

There's even a handy book that helps family members for those of us who read them last.

Cool, Larry!

Something's really strange about that one. The bridge pickup seems too close to the bridge. Every other one I've seen has it sitting in that pickguard cutout.
1219181018-00.jpg Hmm. Didn't notice that due to my lack of (A) interest in the bass, and, (2) money.
Prolly a post purchase mod by previous owner. Might be really 'punchy'; might suck. I'll never know.

Model making, it's good, contemplative fun.......................
Crossdressing on the weekends too :woot:

A step in the process, this is lots of lipstick on a pig.

Assembling a set of individual link metal tracks for some 1/35 scale WWII German armor.
I recycle my old high E guitar strings to use as the hinge pins. Tedious, but worth it for the end results.

Tell me about that P-40!
P-40M in Finish markings. Captured Russian Lend Lease aircraft, it is the only P-40 to serve with the Finish during WWII, never saw action with them and only served in a training capacity. It's the Academy 1/72 scale kit, very nice little kit, reminds me why I don't build 1/72 anymore, way to small lol.
Built in honor of Raimo the moderator of Facebook group Oldie goldie scale models who recently passed unexpectedly as he was from Finland we all decided to build something in Finish markings.

Maybe three days a year.
You have A/C anyway. It's going to have record highs here, and nobody has A/C. There's a few days every year that it would be nice to have, but most of the time, we just don't need it. This summer may be different. It's supposed to be Junuary this month, not the end of August.
