I did say "about" when I justifiably could have said I'm as good a SIL as they could have hoped for. I am pretty great.Ya need to cut back on the humility.
At being a SIL, not playing bass.Should we tell them from the voice of experience that can shut down the tread for few days.... I' don't think we've wandered for four pages. But we could....

I played my '76 Sunday with Rotos. Sounded great. Some just don't like the sidewinders. They don't sound as great as the 60s PUs, but still sound better than most basses.
tired of working on amps…..stuff like this is so much fun..

Maybe, but if it gets ya where ya wanna go... I did some super detailing* on a 'blue box' Athearn F-7 A/B about 40(?) years ago. Still looks pretty dang good. Can't shoot pix-packed away due to possible need to move.*handrails, new lights(lost the jewels)on the front door, Hancock air chime whistle, shaved the steam generator details off the A-like SF, custom paint and 'freelance' roadname decals, and light weathering
