we could use some of your rain just about now….saw signs in the Central Valley that read “Pray for Rain” a couple of days ago…disturbing… it’s not even July and over 2000 acres in Big Sur are up in flames already….Actually it is for this time of year, we natives just want everyone else to think it rains here all the time
It rains as much or more in many other parts of the country, including NYC. It stays light out late into the evening with the sun setting in the northwest - love it!

They're talking drought here in Washington as well, it's not at your level just now though.
Our watering restrictions usually start while it’s still raining. Looks like we have a dryer spell coming up. Gonna go canoe in the slough tomorrow!

Oh yeah, worst sunburn I ever got though was on a trip to the Oregon Coast. Top down all the way through Washington, walked into a store on the coast and asked for Aloe Vera. I guess they don’t sell a lot.
Quiet tonight so I'll throw this in: Gig Friday(6/25)night. Trio with the better of our 2 guitarists, the drummer, and me. Taking the 67 NR, the R200c, and it's my turn to provide the PA(Yamaha mixer>JBL EON One)-and skeeter spray, at a restaurant/lounge in Hobe Sound. Hours are 6-9. Home in time for the Tonight show-which I don't watch. Maybe a west coast baseball game.
Sounds a good night to me!
