Thunderbird Club

I won't be there for long. Chances are that I'll be able to go gawk at the Alamo on Friday evening but that's about it. I have a 6:30 am flight home on Saturday morning, which means I won't be up late. I don't know how long I'll be tied up working on Friday. It could be quick, or it could wipe out the whole day. My work is like that.

More on topic. The black VP is due to arrive in Seattle on Thursday at the GC here. I'll look at it and make sure it's not completely destroyed before accepting it from them. But not on Thursday, because I'll be in the air. Maybe Saturday afternoon when I get back or Sunday. It won't have a case or a gig bag, and I doubt it will fit in any of the 'Bird cases I already have. Funny how a brilliant move sometimes causes complications. Good thing I don't have all that much time to think about it or I would be rattling around in anticipation.
You gotta eat, though.

Thank you. I picked it up tonight. The owner bought it new and it never left his rehearsal studio (converted garage). It looks mint and sounds great. I can't wait to put it to work.

I had one. And when I had an SVT cab.
It ran that 810 no problem.
Maybe not a large club head. But sure sounds killer.

That would require me playing.... I am suffering an anterior interosseous nerve palsy in my fretting hand (thumb and index finger not working properly). I haven't played in a couple of months. On the upside, I have a second surgical consult next week and with a little luck will be scheduling the surgery in the next month or two (I was referred by the first surgeon to the hand clinic).

Ugh!!! Hope you get through it ok my friend.

That's what I was hoping. I have an SVT classic if I need more volume, but I've been wanting a lower powered option for home that I could record with (without shaking the walls). I'm excited to see how it sounds through my bigger cabinets.

Best wishes for that consult, mon ami.

go to Juárez…
If I had time, I would do that. I just got one of those passport cards that lets you (in theory) go to Canada and Mexico without having to take the full blown passport. Beats me why a full blown passport is necessary any more anywhere if you can have a credit card sized passport with bar codes and a chip and whatever else they put into those things these days.

I just got a message from UPS. I have a package from Texas due to be delivered at the house tomorrow. I won't be home, but my wife will be. I'm sooooooo busted! I thought it was going to the GC in Seattle. Guess I blew the pickup location or maybe somebody did me a favor. Whatever. It will be there when I get home. Ironically enough, from Texas.

Might want to do a little more Sight Seeing in San Antonio!

I hope the surgery can remedy your situation!
