Hey, now.
I know, I almost included a disclaimer for you a those like you, which there are many. Unfortunately, Texas is a very big state...

That is so cool! You must be really proud.
I'd love to hear a detailed description of this amp and a sound clip!
Trying to skim catch up after being at the hospital till after midnight.I’m sure you are both a pretty great bass player AND sister in law.
Sweet SQ model. Can’t wait to hear your take on how it sounds, should be quite different than a typical Tbird.
I’ve heard a lot of owners rave about these. I might be mistaken but I seem to remember something about the early cabs having an interference issue with the flip top. Consequently some owners “fixed” the issue by cutting out a good size chunk of the cross bracing and possibly weakening the cab structure. You might want to check inside the cab to see if there’s been any poorly done mods.View attachment 4310918
Do any of you fine gents have one of these (PF-50t)? I came across one for a really good price and am sorely tempted. I want a B15 but can't afford one and don't necessarily want the issues that old (unrestored) amps usually come with. Are these comparable at all to your ears?
(This one has the 2-10 cabinet, but if I get it I may at least try a 15, just to compare.)
Ha - not me for once.On hold pending payment - who?
LOL - I guess it could be worse, you could be an exceptionally average to below average sister in law, and not a good bass player.Trying to skim catch up after being at the hospital till after midnight.
Thanks, but I assure you I'm an exceptionally average to below average player. And, I most definitely am not a good "sister" in law at all!![]()
That would require me playing.... I am suffering an anterior interosseous nerve palsy in my fretting hand (thumb and index finger not working properly). I haven't played in a couple of months. On the upside, I have a second surgical consult next week and with a little luck will be scheduling the surgery in the next month or two (I was referred by the first surgeon to the hand clinic).I'd love to hear a detailed description of this amp and a sound clip!

I'll second that!Best wishes for a good consult and surgery to put this behind you. Full and speedy recovery as well!
sorry to hear….explains the unusually high watermelon content of late…That would require me playing.... No, I'll be in San Antonio all day Friday. It's a place I haven't been yet.Not around Austin, tho.
Eventually it will all be paved over with suburbs, office parks, and factories. And all of those will be abandoned about five years after completion when Texas completely runs out of water.I know, I almost included a disclaimer for you a those like you, which there are many. Out here in Seattle, we don't judge.Trying to skim catch up after being at the hospital till after midnight.

Your '15 has the wrong pickguard on it. That is something we do judge out here in Seattle. Shallow is good.View attachment 4311507

I hope the surgical consultation goes well and you get your hands back. And I also hope your melon carving skills are intact no matter what. Some things are critical. That would require me playing.... Nice. I've been there many times over the past 20 years because of work. I highly recommend avoiding the Riverwalk and going to Southtown, which is down South Alamo, below E César E. Chávez Blvd. No, I'll be in San Antonio all day Friday. It's a place I haven't been yet.

sorry to hear….explains the unusually high watermelon content of late……
joking aside, best of luck in your hopefully speedy recovery.
Thanks all. Nothing really need be said. I have confidence in the surgeons I am working with and believe that I will end up playing again soon.I hope the surgical consultation goes well and you get your hands back. I won't be there for long. Chances are that I'll be able to go gawk at the Alamo on Friday evening but that's about it. I have a 6:30 am flight home on Saturday morning, which means I won't be up late. I don't know how long I'll be tied up working on Friday. It could be quick, or it could wipe out the whole day. My work is like that.Nice. I've been there many times over the past 20 years because of work.
