Congratulations! It's beautiful. Please remember that EQing a Thunderbird is much different than a Fender. Try setting your amp to everything at noon and go from there.
Scissors are handed. I wouldn't have figured that out except that I can do a lot of things either hand, and using scissors is just flat awkward lefty. Unless they are lefty scissors.

Sounds like we are similar, except that I'm slightly right handed like you are slightly left handed.I've tried a few lefty basses and it's not worth the effort to re-learn to play. I'm ambidextrous in virtually everything, but playing isn't one of them. Just feels odd and I'm even a worse player. I guess I want my dominate hand doing most of the work. I think it's the righthanders who are actually playing backwards. Start fretting with your dominate hand you sissies instead of making your left do most of the work!
You will have hours and hours of fun figuring out all the different things a '15 can do. Looks like there's a fair amount of bee's wing in the raised neck block. That's a bonus!

The wood on that one is beautiful! The 2015 bird is unique from all other birds and does sound fantastic when set up properly.
Every pair of scissors in my house are lefty scissors, as are the can openers and even some of the rulers and tape measures. I’m pretty much used to it now but did draw the line at teaching my wife to golf, she does that right handed and quite well.
Hey, I've been eating properly all my life then! My German heritage maybe. But I absolutely refuse to swap the knife and fork to cut, which is a faux pas invented by someone who didn't bother asking others first before making that absolutist demand. I'm slightly smart enough to have both hands work and know what to do, so I don't act like I have one hand that's a moron and can't hold a knife like an adult.
