I'd heard that the new NR necks were gonna be 'beefier' a while back. That-and the cost-had sent me looking at the possibility of getting a 2021 Epi Embassy PRO($400 is a lot less than $1800.*). But those seem to be unavailable now and I just found out I'm about to be spending some $ I don't have on an electrical problem here at mi casa.

I'm getting one regardless but am wondering…how much beefier? Beefier like my Greco? If so, that's fine with me. I do prefer the neck profile on my '02 Gibson, but I wouldn't be fussed if it's a tad chunkier

A bit more so than a Greco but not as wide at the nut ( yeah, I said that!).

There's no volute on a 2021.

The new NR neck is beefy, like way bigger than a Reverse, I'm find that I have the bass at a different height as I play it more.

Would you say it's hefty like the neck on your GoldTop LPB?

we must have different Grecos….the 13 neck dwarfs my Greco…..next to a 68….mine's just a bit wider….

That LP is actually closer a Reverse in size of the neck - Tomorrow's a day off, I'll shoot some decent pics for us.
