I’m screwed, I have a “Poor-sha” (Porsche) problem AND a Thunderbird problem. If I added a mistress problem to it I’d really be screwed!o_O

KY is where I acquired my Porsche problem, so yes, they have those there. :thumbsup:
And on the mistress front, just remember - Kentucky is the land of beautiful horses and fast women. :cool:

Humbuckers, unless you have the 2015 Tbird, then you can coil split to singles with a flip of a switch.

Well, our weather and taxes are way better than what you find in the Northeast, and we're not that far from Massachusetts. Much closer than California. And, you're not far from Nashville, where those wonderful Thunderbirds are made! Not far from our several brethren in these parts either. But I'm sensing this isn't working.

Thanks, I'm finishing up some wiring and wanted to make sure I used the right pots.

The telexplorer in my avatar has duncan pickups in a similar housing to the bird pickup but they are single coils.

Ever tried a halfround or pressure wound? You get some of the crunch of a roundwound and some of the smooth feel of a flatwound. But they also thump more like a flatwound.

GHS brite flats are ground wound, which take it a step further toward flats.

I also enjoy GHS because, they do balanced tension for nearly all of their sets, now!

*for stainless, Rotosound has the Solobass sets. Which are a halfround version of the Swingbass 66.

Ever tried Elixirs? They are the real deal, when it comes to longevity. Sweat and grime can't get in there, because they coat the whole finished string. If I were gigging, they would be my gigging strings. My fave bassist swears by them.

I’m from the Northeast and have lived in the “Commonwealth of Massachusetts”……think I’d pick KY….:)

A badge I gladly wear! The flight helmet is from my grandfathers pile of war booty when he was stationed in England during WWII. As a kid I wore this riding my bike around the neighborhood, got me beat up on a regular basis but it didn't dissuade me. Lol
