I’m screwed, I have a “Poor-sha” (Porsche) problem AND a Thunderbird problem. If I added a mistress problem to it I’d really be screwed!

Lol. OK. Here’s a slice from the end of the evening. This place is a restaurant with a bar. We do classic rock, and other stuff we like. I don’t know why they keep booking us, because we spend the entire first set being told to turn down.
Anyway, end of the night, we’re hot and dripping wet, and someone in the audience (you’ll have to imagine all the tables filled behind that empty first row) wants to hear Rush. OK, we’re tired of playing softly, so take THIS. They did rebook for several months out, so I guess they made money.
Video picks up right at the dramatic pause before the guitar solo. This is taken by a GoPro on my end of the stage, so the mix is PERFECT.

Excellent looking bird! Looks like it color coordinates with the drum kit.
As for the music, you guys ROCK! Post more if you can. That bass intro sounded really sweet too, what strings are you using?

Geeez, I really am a dork, for some reason I was still stuck on the trains.....
The Bass is a refinned Orville that was done by HMR Guitars, the two point bridge is from Tone Pros IIRC, the tailpiece was done by the late Bill Wallence. It has EY Guitars pickups in it currently. It's a set neck, originally had a 3 point, much like a '76, actually a very nice bass.

Man, I didn’t even realize the color match.
It wasn’t intentional. Thanks for the kind words. Dunlop Superbright Nickels. I use them on almost all my basses, except the one that uses Labella flats. If you’ll notice, I hit the channel switch right at the pause. I switched to the overdrive channel on my Super Bassman. It helps a lot when the strings are dying.

Did you spend any time with the stock strings or change them out immediately? If you played it with the stock ones, what did they sound like compared to the Superbrights?Thank you!
