And eat BBQ. Jack's and Martin's are two good places to start. My wife does love Nashville. She goes with her friends. I don't get to go. But I'm going to insist next time and visit Mark.
Did you spend any time with the stock strings or change them out immediately? If you played it with the stock ones, what did they sound like compared to the Superbrights?
It's been one of *those* weeks

Lol. OK. Here’s a slice from the end of the evening. This place is a restaurant with a bar. We do classic rock, and other stuff we like. I don’t know why they keep booking us, because we spend the entire first set being told to turn down.
Anyway, end of the night, we’re hot and dripping wet, and someone in the audience (you’ll have to imagine all the tables filled behind that empty first row) wants to hear Rush. OK, we’re tired of playing softly, so take THIS. They did rebook for several months out, so I guess they made money.
Video picks up right at the dramatic pause before the guitar solo. This is taken by a GoPro on my end of the stage, so the mix is PERFECT.
Enjoy!![]()
She likes to go for CMA Fest. They stay at the Marriott and wander from venue to venue. I appreciate County music, but don't know that I could take a whole week of it. They have a blast.Do it!

There are a good number of things that might be interesting around the Nashville area. I love visiting there, and I'm not a country music person. Plenty of music stores interesting places to eat and visit. Nice parks and historic sites. Corvette factory and Museum are about 40 min away in Bowling Green, Ky. Louisville is 2.5 hrs!She likes to go for CMA Fest. They stay at the Marriott and wander from venue to venue. I appreciate County music, but don't know that I could take a whole week of it. There is a lot of good Zappa. That isn't one of them. It was actually pretty popular back in the day. I refuse to click on any Barry Manilow clip.Loved The Guess Who clip. Hope to never see the other two ever again. Would rather watch ABBA.![]()
I can't say Zappa ever did anything for me. I'm not sure I ever got through a whole song. There is a lot of good Zappa. That isn't one of them. It was actually pretty popular back in the day. I refuse to click on any Barry Manilow clip.
