The Shure wireless I use takes a wide range of voltage. I am running it at either 12 or 18 volts, but I don't remember exactly. It has been a while since I did anything with the board.Roadkill's THUNDERBIRDS pedalboard current state (stable for a year-ish):

basses => 2:1 switch => tuner => bass comp => EQ => distortion => Phase 95 => volume pedal => preamp => out
The 2:1 switch and unicorn rubber duck don't need power. Walrus Audio Atheos (8 outputs) brick under the upper deck powers the rest. If I add more than one more pedal I'll have to replace or augment that. The only thing I'm really jonesing for on there is a wireless rig's receiver, many of which don't use standard 9V adapters.
The EQ is set up for the VP here, which still produces plenty of mids and highs.
It works very well and is probably five years old now. Maybe older. It is the one wireless with no latency that I can pick out. Others have just enough to be a little distracting.
You mean I can’t use my shop vac to siphon gasoline out of my car to use in the lawn mower?
