Great news!
So the video finally came out from the jazz workshop I did in August. My drummer friend Paul Mackisoc had called me up and said "We should go jam for a week!"
My song choice was Four on Six (starts about 6:40)
You are selling your others? Say it ain't so!Thunderbird Thursday already?!
I guess this week, it'll be the last bass standing (or will be the last one, once the others are sold):

She is 15. I’m not sure if you can tell, but she is blind. And she had never played with a band before! That's great, Irv! How old is that keyboard player?
I am incredibly impressed! She is 15. I’m not sure if you can tell, but she is blind. And she had never played with a band before!
Strings are Dunlop nickel rounds 45-105. They came on the bass and they are so nice on that bass, I texted the guy that sold me the bass months later to find out what they were.Sounds better than a Ric! If my Ric sounded like that, I would have kept it! What strings were you using? I'd like to go back and listen again with earbuds it sounded so good. But tell those cats in the front to cool it and let the bass have more space!![]()
As we all were!I am incredibly impressed!
Whoa, got a time stamp for that? I didn't get to watch the whole thing. As we all were!
There is a point in one of her solos where she references the Flintstones theme song.
Had to put a like on the post for a great pic of a great bass, but did I read correctly that you might be off loading all the others.Thunderbird Thursday already?!

If so, so sorry to hear that, hope all is ok, or we’ll be soon.
Well, shoot. Sorry to hear it. I hope all's well and that this isn't a semi-forced sale due to disaster.Indirectly, I guess? I'm anticipating a possible need for some extra $$ before the end of the year, trying to get ahead of that.....
Yeah, as soon as I can get prep work, pictures, & packaging squared away, everything but the Pro 5 (and maybe the AEB) is gonna get put up for sale.
Probably in a couple of weeks, or so. I hope all is well and this isn't a semi-forced sale due to disaster.
It's not a "I need to sell yesterday" sort of thing, trying to get it done before it gets to that point....
Dang! Sorry to hear that. I'd guess there are some club members who'd be interested.Indirectly, I guess? I'm anticipating a possible need for some extra $$ before the end of the year, trying to get ahead of that.....

ThanksLove them both! That's my fave burst on the RD.........So cool!
Not really disaster, per se, but the 'birds aren't the only things that are going.
And, there's always the possibility that I'm over-preparing, but that's better than under-preparing, ime
