Thunderbird Club

I need a vacation too. I’m taking next week and going to the beach. It’s been a heck of a stressful week with work and buying a house to retire to…got to decide where the Thunderbirds will go.View attachment 4455856View attachment 4455849 View attachment 4455857View attachment 4455858 View attachment 4455859View attachment 4455860

That’s gorgeous! Is the downhill view water or earth? Do you plan to clear trees away from the house in case of wildfires, or do you have enough land to clear a fire break further away?

My uncle used to always say that when you go to a doctor you have no way of knowing if they graduated at the top of his or her class...or just barely made it. They are all called doctor. Once you've been involved with a situation involving multiple doctors, you come to realize they can sound very certain and often convincing by themselves--until the next doctor comes in and disagrees and seems to logically justify a different approach. I've never put it bluntly or rudely, but have suggested that both can't be right. Both can be wrong, but both can't be right.

I like my doctor and dentist not only for how they practice medicine, but for how they vet the specialists they send me to. When I brought up vasectomy, she asked if I had a urologist preference. I said, “Whoever you would send your husband to” (knowing they have a happy marriage!) He laughed and said, “Good, because he’s always my first recommendation.” The referrals are always great doctors with excellent staff.

Now I just need a local bass doctor in that class.

This is me going as a knine Uber driver.

I was thinking about trick or treating dressed up as a bass player, but then I quickly realized no one would ever see me.:roflmao:

Many moons ago (you can guess the rough date by my tee shirt) I went out as Bob Seger and the wife went as Siouxsie Sioux…

Added the PF50T a few months back but wanted to hear how it sounded with a single 15 (came with a 210HE). I found a demo model on sale at Sweetwater and it finally came in a couple days ago. I'm pretty happy (looks mint). To be honest, I don't hear a huge difference between the two cabinets on their own, but I really like how they sound together, so no worries there.

No water below us. There’s s a stream with a hike to a waterfall close by though. I’ll likely hire a consultant for clearing recommendations. But the land is clean of underbrush and the tress are healthy. The insurance company will have their requirements too.
