Thunderbird Club

Sorry if this has been covered but I'm dipping my toes in the T-Bird world for the first time. Is there a difference between the Epi Thunderbird 60's model and the Vintage Pro? They both appear to be the same price and specs, is it just a name change?
It's a good place for toes. As a start.

2 gigs at this place on the Costa next week…as much as I’d like to, probably won’t be taking a Bird:rollno:….flying out Friday…9 hour layover in Paris…:bawl:.

I'm feeling a lot of pity here. Actually I kinda am. That's a lot of time on airplanes if you only get a nine hour layover. I hope you will be having plenty of time before and after the gigs.

Nope. Yep. VPs used different tuners and fretboard materials depending on the run. But for all intents and purposes, they’re the same.

Government and their safety regulations removing everything good - case amps, lawn darts, Ford Pintos... Where does it end? Will Thunderbirds be outlawed for their projectile headstocks next??
They will get my guns Thunderbirds when they pry my cold dead fingers off.... (Well, applies to those other things as well.)
"The Government shall not infringe upon the right of the people to own and use Thunderbirds, or hinder the free assembly of those who do." Can I get an amen?

A well regulated rhythm section, being necessary to the security of freebird, the right of the people to keep and bear Thunderbirds, shall not be infringed.

Sounds like we have the first two amendments to Declaration of FSO Independence.

* I like my Fenders. But if I had to choose.....I would miss my Fender's.

I was an avid jazz bass hater, and could live without P’s but I am liking my recent jazz build, but it’s only real 7ender parts is the pickups.

I’m super shocked how much I like my NR bird, I really only bought it because with Gibson you never know if they won’t make them again for 10+years. And when was the last run of reverse and explorer basses?
