Thunderbird Club

That sounds like fun! Love me some Motown.
There are a lot of cool Motown/R&B/(old school)Funk songs. And many great bass lines!
We are thinking being in that lane will differentiate us from other cover bands.
There’s also some cool newer stuff. I think maybe the bass player in the video is somebody’s son standing in for the real player?

Yes as no matter what kind of bass they played they usually had it up to neck level like Pete Quaife. This thing is much easier to play high, I love the bass so far.

Have we seen this one? Michael Steele playing a NR.

Interesting - must be a late '60s T-bird. Good on her for rockin' a cool vintage T-bird when not a lot of players male or female were then.

Interesting!

I always thought a San Diego weather report would go something like...
Today, sunny and 75. Tuesday sunny and 74. Wed Sunny and 74 with a 10% chance of a cloud. Thursday the cloud will move out and be Sunny and 75. Friday a cold front hammers the area with highs falling below 70. A blistering heat wave moves in Saturday with highs over 79...... I also wondered how you make what to someone back east would basically be the same weather every day seem like news.
Yep. Pretty much. When we moved up to the Central Coast from San Diego when I was about ten, we didn’t have any cold weather clothes. And it can get cold for a few months on the coast. Much colder than the average San Diego day.

That's about how high I have mine and it's very comfortable like that, maybe we'll start a new fad?
I'm thoroughly uncool. I play it like an ape. Thunderbirds need long, long straps extended to their near longest adjustment. At least for me. Funny thing is that other BGs should have much shorter straps. Guitars, especially guitars with big, hollow acoustic bodies are on quite short straps. I think it has to do with both shape and right hand technique.
