Thunderbird Club

That’s Joe Osborn. One of my favorite bass players

You know it - that's why these songs are worth listening to ... they had thee best players in the studio playing them.

Here's another song from that period with a killer studio bass-player (Bob Babbitt) -

The Rodrigues story still confirms (for me) that there is righteousness in the world - damn! so many vids on YouTube are not available to transfer anymore!

I’m out of Marshall amp knobs….

my multi-meter can’t read caps, anybunny know what’s in these? I would imagine a .022uf?

if so I need to order some .015uf anyway and I would probably try one.

Absolutely. I feel people give up on them way too quickly. With my strings and the amps I use I think they sound fantastic. Articulate, deep, edgy, ballsy, etc.

I think they probably sound better through an SS rig - but as always, I could be wrong.

But he absolutely did not play on Beatle albums instead of Ringo.

I'm not aware of that. Folklore had it that Paul played drums on Tomorrow Never Knows (one of my favorite Beatles songs) cause Ringo couldn't get the hang of it. Since they are both still alive, I guess that could be cleared up.
