Absolutely. I feel people give up on them way too quickly. With my strings and the amps I use I think they sound fantastic. Articulate, deep, edgy, ballsy, etc.
I think they probably sound better through an SS rig - but as always, I could be wrong.![]()
An ACC stack does just fine with them.I think they probably sound better through an SS rig - but as always, I could be wrong.![]()
GHS Precision Flats (Old school thump) were sounding very pleasing before the SITS.Funny, almost polar opposites to my bright stainless steel strings.
Have we seen this one? Michael Steele playing a NR.
Cool Thunderbird and all. But I couldn’t help but only pay attention to Susanna.
There are a lot of cool Motown/R&B/(old school)Funk songs. And many great bass lines!
We are thinking being in that lane will differentiate us from other cover bands.
There’s also some cool newer stuff. I think maybe the bass player in the video is somebody’s son standing in for the real player?
Exactly!!!Ha! You mentioned a song I generally dislike, but I like to listen to it! And yes it does.

Agreed on both points.
But, these are the type of TB+‘s
that should be in a TBird.
Anyone with one of these will know what I’m talking about.
I know I’m possibly over stepping here V.

I just thought “San Francisco” was a bit too cheesy/sappy. But it worked anyway, as a seriously hooky pop song. The hooker next door.So many good songs have been played to death. Once removed from them over a period of time (years) - they can be appreciated for what they were which was well written/performed songs.
Love me some Berry. As much as I love the live versions, none of them captured the bass like the studio version. Not my favorite bass tone, but I love it otherwise (the whole song, not just ggd bass).
As Mike says “tweetchie zone”Buckets full! black/white/clear some go to 11... I don't particularly care for them, if I stray from 7ender and Marshall amp knobs I will tolerate Telecaster knobs, and the Jazz/Ric knobs.
I just happened to have those 3 BC Rich knobs, and they may stay.
If they remember!I'm not aware of that. Folklore had it that Paul played drums on Tomorrow Never Knows (one of my favorite Beatles songs) cause Ringo couldn't get the hang of it. Since they are both still alive, I guess that could be cleared up.
It’s an example of a decent modern song that just needs the right energy. We jammed that tonight and it sounded great right away.Or he went to the same ACME School of Stage Persona as the Ox…
either way, that was bada$$.
