Thunderbird Club

Agreed on both points.
But, these are the type of TB+‘s
that should be in a TBird.

Anyone with one of these will know what I’m talking about.

I know I’m possibly over stepping here V.

Along that same line…

Spent the entire evening yesterday playing hours and hours of random Swing and Light Jazz songs with the Memphis ES Les Paul short scale strung with Cobalt Flats. With the tone knob rolled down and the the neck pup boosted slightly higher than the bridge pup it’s just such a sweet sounding bass for that type of music. Creamy smooth but still very articulate. It’s my go to Swing bass.

I'm not aware of that. Folklore had it that Paul played drums on Tomorrow Never Knows (one of my favorite Beatles songs) cause Ringo couldn't get the hang of it. Since they are both still alive, I guess that could be cleared up.
His claim changed over the years. At one point he claimed he ghosted some recordings for Ringo. But that never happened. Probably the most he can be traced to are some tracks on the US release of the old recordings they did with Tony Sheridan.

So cool!

I know why you like it. Says something about all Thunerbirds welcome, I think. I could be wrong....
I think you’re pretty close.

Looks to me like it roughly translates to…

My Queen, My Leader Veronica,
curator of the terrific, grand, and the mighty renowned Thunderbird IV
Celebrating since the 21st of September 1992*

*the stone carver made a typo on the year, unfortunately no auto correct on the chisel.

Pretty sure The Ballad of John & Yoko was just John & Paul.
Paul drums, bass, piano and vocals
John guitars and lead vocals.
Might be a bit different to that but I bet Paul jumped onto the drum stool.
