You still have two kidneys, don’t you? I love my ‘15. Stainless steel rounds though, like SIT Power Steels or Dunlop Marcus Miller Superbrights are what I think makes it soar. Someone here should snag this.Wish I had the xtra cash as this is kind of local to me.....
For Sale - (NEW)2015 Gibson Thunderbird/ HSGC with setup Roto-sound .45 to .105 Flat Wounds
As do I. Great bass on that track.I got interested when “Inside Looking Out” hit the airwaves, but fell hard when “I’m Your Captain / Closer to Home” came out. I still love that song and aspire one day to be able to play the whole bass line at proper speed.
You should have. The gang here would have gone on about them for a good ten pages or so.It was. A big garage, service hall. There where a lot of old Amercian cars all around (should have taken some pics of those too, I guess).
Here is another Peavey head I still own and still works without issue. I bought it in 1988 when I neede a bigger amp and ran it with a number of different cabinets.
It also did 2 US/Canada tours and many, many local shows and paractice sessions and only once had an issue. It had to go back to Peavey for reapair which they did under warranty.
I read somewhere tha this is basically the same inards & tone circuit of thier PA amps at the time. It too is very heavy for what it is but it sounds great.
Plus it has many, many knobs and sliders which always make you feel more like a "pro" when you are pretty much clueless as to what any of these things actually do....

Correct and well said with brevity.
Dear Dad,OK. I'll completely stop playing them.
Until Friday and Saturday night(s)-our next 2 gigs.
BTW, I'm 76, my one offspring* is 44.
*that I know of, anyway
I remember those, but never played one. Looks cool with all the things to move and adjust. Here is another Peavey head I still own and still works without issue. I bought it in 1988 when I neede a bigger amp and ran it with a number of different cabinets.

Megabass! Yep... Late 80s... Didn't really like the EQ, but it's a bomber. You can always throw an eq in...Here is another Peavey head I still own and still works without issue. I bought it in 1988 when I neede a bigger amp and ran it with a number of different cabinets.

I agree and offer apologies to all for my part in the diversion. This stops now.
I have refrained comment up to this point, if I see ANY more posts regarding this subject I will simply have the Basses Mod close the thread permanently. Some of you really need to study U.S. history.
And it isn't even Pelham Blue. Unless it has been refinished. So if Marshall likes it and it isn't blue, that says lots and lots about how great they are.You still have two kidneys, don’t you? Because the ladder is a technology that has yet to reach KC/MO?![]()
Riiiiight.Dear Dad,
I always knew there was something about you that resonated with me. Now I know why and it explains why we have so many similarities. I don't want to bring this up, but when that time comes, I know my half-sister won't really want that old bass you've had since the 70s (she doesn't even play--are you sure she's even related to us?). I would certainly cherish it and and it would be a reminder of you every time I saw it.
Love and Thunderbirds,
Son
Next time I try to remember..You should have. The gang here would have gone on about them for a good ten pages or so.
