I agree. Rock needs that raw emotion to really connect, IMO. Patti's version is by far my favorite with 10,000 Maniacs being my least. Natalie Merchant can sing, no doubt. But her version doesn't seem to have real emotion behind it. All of this is just my opinion, of course.

I did an entire run of custom builds because of availability and/or nothing like it available… but when the NR’s became a reality I just had to have one. I wasn’t expecting to like the Gibson NR as much as I do.

not sad I built them but my NR turned out really unbalanced, the rest are quite awesome, with the Telexplorer being the top of the heap.

I don't recall seeing one either. Since they are made in Canada they made include blankets with many products.

Just during the winter... Which lasts 10 months most years. Sometimes it's longer.

I’m no expert, but I’ve seen several Gibson cases with the shroud.
Also seems like those case are relatively older.

My '91 and '01 cases have a shroud. The '91 shroud is some kind of fleece. The '01 shroud looks like satin but is probably pink polyester. The other two official Gibson cases are for the 2013 EB and '15 Thunderbird. The '15 case is tan outside and pink inside as a proper Gibson case should be. The '13 is black outside and white inside. Not bad, but not as good as tan and pink.

The Flamingo is a '91. It was good and worn when I got it.

My 2011 is a black case with white fluffy interior. No shroud worst luck.
