I remember seeing a photo of the Four Seasons years ago with A Thunderbird and a Firebird too.

I can't believe it, I just found it:


This TV clip is of the Seasons playing a medley of their hits. Nick Massi and Tommy DeVito are sporting matching Gibson instruments. Both are beautiful sunburst guitars from the 1963-64 era. DeVito is playing a Gibson Firebird VII while Nick Massi is holding down the bass on a Gibson Thunderbird bass.

He has it slung a little lower. It looks a lot more like a Thunderbird should be.

We are actually having a White Christmas in Vancouver.

Better you that us! We had a wonderful 72 decree (f) day and it was fantastic. Windy, but wonderful. Last year it it 18 degrees.
I'm not sure your dog is having the merry Christmas you were intending Irv! Looks rather apprehensive about the whole thing.

I like them high too, at least the NR. I've been raising my basses lately.

I keep lowering them and rotating the neck. It is probably a doghouse habit.

Yum, yum! We largely did as well. Had Schweinebraten (kind of our version) and of course some sauerkraut and a few other fixins. I hope you enjoyed yours as much as I did ours!

A sunny 80F here today! Perfect cycling weather. Enjoyed a laid back 10 mile ride with my wife. Tomorrow should be more of the same; I expect to get a longer solo ride in.
