It looks like the 3/8 Hipshot licensed ultralites are the ones that work, I have some on order but are on back order for a week so I guess another three weeks before I get them. I will give a blow by blow account of fitting them as soon as they arriveAll of this shiny metal pr0n is giving me GAS. Can anyone recommend direct drop in replacement tuners for the Epi PRO IV headstock ... in case I have an attack of the chromes?
Today is a good day, despite being ill (I've been suffering with an infection for a couple of weeks that was resistant to antibiotics) I have my record player back in the best position in the room. Sounds daft but it has been out of place for a few years and sounding a bit off colour due to my wife wanting me to bring a large fish tank into the front room but that went a few weeks ago due to a lack of time to look after it. So with me been in bed sick my good lady has done all the redecorating and shifting and it's all done bar some bits and bobs which she can do over the weekendView attachment 959663

All: Is there a way to block seeing a particular person's posts? Forever? Nobody in the Thunderbird thread, it's someone else that really annoys me, and HAS TO post in almost every single thread no matter what. Dude posted not too long ago that he was giving up bass and Talkbass for a while because of whatever-the-f--k reason, but sure enough, every time I turn around post post post.
Thanks! Ignore button.I believe when you click on their screen name it should give you an option to ignore. Not entirely sure if that'll block their posts, though.
Why fights: it keeps things "balanced". Same reason that pitchers in the National League don't throw at opposing batters very often. They're gonna get plunked if they do. Its why Sid the Kid doesn't just get killed every single game. Teams have enforcers so that nobody on the other team gets too froggy with the stars (or superstars, in Sid's case). Somebody takes a cheap shot at your top scorer, they're gonna have to pay a price for it. And, without letting them fight, the game would get out of control and the refs wouldn't be able to keep it in check.Hockey. Can be an engaging game to watch when it's an active game, as boring as soccer when the talent's too well balanced between teams.. And of course the volatile silliness of fights on the ice is quite that gag! I don't get it, but that's what it is, kind of a tradition.
I never played because I never learned to skate well enough. That's what makes it it's own brand of exclusive-the gate slams shut if you're not a real good skater, of course... kind of a "niche sport", like curling.![]()
My favourite game, Rugby League, had a non-RL CEO for a little while, a banker. Anyway he put in a rule that any punch in any circumstance gets punished by a 10 minute 'Sin Bin' and an appointment with the judiciary. The (unintended) outcome is a lot of cheap niggling because they know the other guy can't give them a short right to put them in their place. You now see 'all in' bouts of pushing with severe facial expressions and finger poking & waving. Does my head in.Why fights: it keeps things "balanced".
