Hey everyone, looking to get a non reverse bird but I can't find any pictures of the bass without pickguard, could someone who owns one show us what that looks like?
Well, maybe. They probably lifted it from someone else. Nothing is sacred!that’s who inspired that scheme…thx.

Agreed- the Pacer is in a league of its own, somewhere in a distant galaxy far, far away...
Pacer is here ->(somewhere)

We assembled one RHD Rambler Pacer before deciding against continuing with it.
I feel like this story should be more fun than was explainedBefore searching I thought I'd ask if anyone knew place off the top of their head to get truss rod cover screws. I need three because some moron sucked them up in the vacuum. Thought I ask before Binging it.
I changed strings and this is a bass that's very sensitive to string changes. I left the screws on the carpeted steps instead of taking them back upstairs to my bass closet. I heard a noise a few days later and went to see what was going on. An odd humming sound kept getting more loud and somewhat disturbing. I also notice an odd light coming from behind the door leading to upstairs. I pensively opened the door and the light was crazy bright. I then saw a being with huge eyes glaring at me and the screws on the steps. Without making any sound he held out his hand and slowly sucked the screws toward him. I asked him to leave the screws, but he said he had a bass that needed vintage TRC screws. I couldn't stop him and the screws vanished along with him. I say he was a moron because he said his bass was a Fender and they don't even have TRCs. Stupid alien.I feel like this story should be more fun than was explained
always dug that side view…thing with the AMX styling is certain angles play an optical illusion making them seem bigger when in reality at 97” wheelbase length they are actually tiny…..Opening theme as you drive off… Ramble On
Not really an ouch moment Donny. I’ve discussed with Chucky previously about our AMCs being called Ramblers when assembled here by AMI… (true!)

Thanks! Those two seem about the same (a little over $7 plus tax for 12). I figured I'd need to either buy way more than needed or shipping would be more than the screws! I just checked Stew Mac... $11 for 3 screws plus tax!Try here:

Looks much better!View attachment 4536031 View attachment 4536032 View attachment 4536033 It turns out changing the pickup cover on a Les Paul Junior Doublecut bass is a non-destructive process. The only thing holding the cover on was the pressure of the screws pushing the cover/pickup down against the foam.
I pushed some lighter foam between the new cover and the pickup to hold it together.
The hardest part was cutting tiny screw heads and gluing them onto the trim ring.
Thanks!I think I got my chrome ones from Philadelphia Luthiers?, the not-chrome ones from Home Depot.....
Just ordered some from Philadelphia.Try here:
