I saw SixxAM on the last tour, was very cool, still the same Nikki, different band. Far as the bass, yes, like Sixx's it's single vol. Duff2 made me a mini Haz preamp with the pots attached backwards so it's set and forget. It had bass/treble cut/boost and with those pups, very Spector Like. I boot treble a bit and leave it be, change on the amp if need be. I'll get a pic inside tomorrow.

Chrome GAS is building. The PRO IV tuners are a little hinky anyway. Will await the outcome of @ColinLP's installation. I worry about the bridge replacement, ie will the screw holes on a new bridge match the existing holes...

I've had the pickup covers and rings, the tuners have been dispatched in the last couple of days, they were out of stock when I ordered, Scott has sent my new pickups and bridge so I should be making a start in the next week fingers crossed.

I'm eventually going to put gold top hats on mine, I'm also going to or I think I'm going to cut back the poly finish on the classic back a little with 0000 wire wool to take the high gloss off and give it a more aged look

Yeah, I think he's a bit of a late bloomer in this regard...

What the picture doesn't say, is whether the colourful collection is his or a picture from the web. My guess it's a picture he found online, since we've never seen him with any of those - Only the vintage sunburst he brought out on the last tour.

Likely you're right - I don't expect Mr. Lee to become a Gibson endorser any time soon, it's the comment about appreciating them that I like.
That pic might need it's own thread out in the General Population, I do like to rile up the 7ender cowboys.
