Oh man, I hope everything is high and dry!I split town barely ahead of the hurricane, leaving my beloved thunderbirds to their fate. Had dreams of a '76 bird up in a tree surrounded by downed power lines. The horror, the horror. Anyway I woke up and my hotel room carpet is soaked from vertical rain on the window and I am guessing probably still have a house as the eye just missed my town.

I just stumbled upon these pickups on Invalid Link Removed. Not affiliated with anything in regards of selling or the seller themselves, but i thought it was a cool option for those owning epiphone birds that wanna chrome out but not necessarily have to modify the pickup cavity for shallower chrome pickups.

On another note, i hate when TB doesn't notify me of this club's actionsI do hope the brethren who are near the hurricane, & their families are safe!
Nice... Looks exactly like the Epiphone TB+ pickups in shape...
Shame the seller doesn't provide any technical info about them.
Could be an interesting alternative for some...

I was in Miami FL for Andrew, what a mess that bastard left us with! Quite the heads up as well for the home construction business... glad you're well. From the news and reports I'm getting from the old homestead, your Birds are probably ok too.I have experienced the destructive power of a Hurricane, i ised to live in Lafayette Louisiana and Hurricane Andrew came roaring through causing all kinds of havoc!
