I saw her a few years ago with her own band. The show was at one of my favorite SF venues "The Great American Music Hall" and it wasn't crowded at all. We were right up front. She's very big within certain circles but as a band-leader you'd have to know about her through Jeff Beck and a number of others she's played with. It was a vey cool show, not so much jazz but interesting original material and she sang also.

She played this bass - a vintage Harmony hollow-body. She also played a Fender bass.

She's something. I wish I had her talent when she was 5.

Allow me to apply some logicality.*

If two members were each on opposite sides of the international date line, they could be a day apart. So, we have to accept +/- a whole day. That gives us 3 days of latitude (day of plus one day in each direction). And we must recognize that the members could be at opposite ends in either direction, so today, +/- 3 days will be accepted as a correct day of the week.

I will throw this out there that our very own Queen V has been one of the best influences on me learning how to use a pick and be proficient

there’s a lot of Nasty Habits footage. Watch the Queens technique. Let it ring and use a lighter pick like a Tortex .73. I also use Fender mediums a lot now

I didn't know you doubled as an accountant for the gubment. Who knew!

OK, let's go over the rules one more time. You just can't say things like: "It's got just about everything I could want in a bass and I could easily see this being my only bass." It goes against everything sacred, like Thunderbirds are one-trick ponies, etc. Next you'll saying crazy things like headstocks stay on and there's no horrible neck dive. So please keep this kind of misinformaiton off this form. The Ministry of Truth is always listening.

I'm also a long time Ric player and am VERY familiar with Rickenbacker Ministries of Truth also and I always try to point out that the problem just may be the player not the bass..in a nice way of course .
Now those damn half-trick Fenders though, they have so much neck dive that everytime I've let the neck go while I'm playing it's immediately dropped right to the floor and broke the head stock clean off! Spread it around, we need to warn people in every Fender thread, especially if it's a newbie who's thinking of buying one, it's your civic duty!

I do like my Zoom B3n even if I use very few of the functions. Simulating an SVT while running through a Sunn head and cab is interesting.
