I tried one of them. It was quite subtle. My preferred modulation is a flanger... from the same series...
IIRC the BaCH truss cover is plain black, no logo.
My Dano longhorn is identical to the blue burst in your pics. Great playing little bass with its own sound. Built out of mouse fuzz with some of the most bizarre cost cutting techniques in the bass world, but it seems to be holding up ok.
I do like the unique pick guard on that bass.
Did you ever confirm the tone cap value you have installed. That will have a significant impact on the sound of the bass. If it helps, I can open up one of my Fender Tele single coil basses to see what cap value it has.

I'm not a fan of a lot of the two tone bursts out there, but I've always loved what they did with the Longhorns.
It's actually 3F (1.5C) warmer where our daughter lives in Alaska right now than it is here.

you recall right...the logo is engraved on the headstock.....because mine has been altered
