Chunnel….Chunnel or Sealink?
Calais or Cherbourg?I went from England to France once on a Hovercraft.
I like the Peterson clipon Strobe tuner. Handles everything including my upright.Totally out of the Thunderbird vibe, I really need one of those clip tuners, would you recommend that one !? Always used my trusty Boss pedal but will be playing on a "pedal free" area and one of those will be great.

Carlos, I like it and it seems to do a good job. I keep the clip on at home but use this live. Makes for a nice mute if needed as well. I've not had a problem with either. They both work well and were reasonably priced. I do like how they are easy to see. Some are pretty subdued, but with these you have no problem seeing. The pedal can even detect all strings at once. You can strum a guitar and look to quickly see which string(s) are out of tune.Totally out of the Thunderbird vibe, I really need one of those clip tuners, would you recommend that one !? Some in these parts might say "it needs covers."Well since Tbird day fell on the third day of the month I might as well post my three pup BlingBird…

Thought about adding a bridge cover and a center pup cover and a pick guard and a tug bar but realized that none of that would add any sonic value to the bird and would just make it weigh more. It’s just under 9 pounds now so I’m keeping it that way. Some in these parts might say "it needs covers."I am not among them with this one.
The main drummer at church is pretty light footed. I'm kind of to the side of the kick and at times can't hear it well and even have to look instead of listen.I like loud drummers, especially drummers with a loud foot, got to hear that kick drum. I like big 24" kick drums. Pulse of the band for me.
Were you ever in a Cheech and Chong movie?not to upstage but I once went to a party in Birmingham (UK) and woke up in Paris (FR)…..
no joke……![]()

I kinda wish our(jazz trained)drummer played a little louder. Not all the time, but on some of our more driving numbers. That drives me nuts, I've been in that situation before but to me the drummer is much more than just a timekeeper. I'm not saying I'm always telling them to beat the crap out of the drums, only when it calls for it.
