Thunderbird questions.

well I don't much care if you called me out, this is the interenet, its hard for me to get upset about anything on it. That being said, what I was driving at in my own way (i am known as a sarcastic pragmatic dink in many circles) is that you have a lot of questions and in order to narrow down what you are talking about, start small and work up from there. Once you have the bass really set up and strung with some different strings that don't tear up your fingers or cause tension issues or whatever, then we can start looking into the other issues you have or questions you need answered. Talking about all the other details when the bass, as you described it originally' is practically unplayable for you isn't accomplishing much. In any case, best of luck.

What could have been offensive about asking you who set your bass up with those XH strings, and what music do you play that they are required? ( is that offensive???)
Generally speaking, this board is a VAST knowledge base, and all the questions you actually asked have been answered at least a million times in 8000 threads.

I like to pick bass's cause they look cool. I don't care about the wood its made out of are the company that made it or the craftsmanship
ok fine. easy enough to answer.

USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION - and with that you will find 1/2 a million pictures of "COOL" basses not only tbirds.
the other anwser is that i dont know how to use a computer worth a darn
noone said you have to be a computer geek with 20 years of programming skills behind you. This is not a geek board, it is a bass board.

and if your school-skills are at the 5th grade level still, that is your misfortune and none of my business obviously, but there is a thing called spellcheck that underlines almost 100% of spelling mistakes BEFORE YOU post SO YOU DONT LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT --REMEMBER THIS IS A PUBLIC FORUM AND EVERYTHING YOU POST IS LOOKED AT. This is not an IPHONE "shorten all the words" text message board.

you may think my post was offensive, but I still want to know who told you that you can used 55-115 strings on a bass that was never meant for that in the first place, who set it up so wrongly that you get blisters after playing for 15 minutes and why you would use those strings to play tuned to E, and what type of music you DO play on your Tbird?

you started this thread, and you should be prepared with answers to our questions as well.

Yeah i felt bad about ranting on here. My bass teacher is in the middle of buying a new house so i don't get to travel with my bass to much now. I was going to trade my hardshell case fore a gig bag but some thing tells me that case is going to be worth some thing a long time from now. The thing that was most costly was the case that was like a hundred and fifty dollar case almost more than the bass its self.
