thunderbird stand

ok any idea where i can find a stand that will actually work for my thunderbird. its new to me. almost had it a week and i am so afraid of leaving it sitting up against stuff to hold it up. i really need a stand.

Herc makes stands that will hold ny thing with a head at the end of the neck I don't have a link or pic but I use them for my Explorer and T-birds no sweat.

Yeah, the bassist in my friend's band has one. holds it by the neck and the body rests against the stand

You also can just angle the bottom swivel piece so that the neck is straight vertical. That's what i most often see here. I have to do that with one of my stands anyway because of a slightly bent leg, and nothing's happened to whatever instrument I put on there.

If you have a hard case, lean that against a wall, then put the 'Bird in the case. I've been storing mine like that since I got it.

Look for a stand with a swiveling center post on the bottom arms - most cheap stands are this way, I thought. It'll adjust to the angle of the bass.

Hercules or Ultimate. The Hercules is shown above - the Ultimate folds much smaller but is quite sturdy and also hangs the instrument by the headstock...which is the T-bird solution. Moving the strap pin is irrelevant.
