Thunderfunk 750 owners unite! round deuce

I'd have a use for that.

We need to start a petition for Dave Funk to make one! I know the poor guy's swamped, and we've already discussed at length how hard it is for a single builder to maintain multiple product lines, but I think a 1U preamp would be a big hit. I emailed Dave asking him about it, but haven't heard back; I'm sure he's just too busy to respond quickly. It would be cool to hear from Jauqo if Dave has or is willing to consider it.

Here's why I'd use one:
I have a 2400 watt qsc/plx power amp.
That, and a 1RU TFB preamp would be a light three space venue crusher.

The TFB preamp kicks it for both slab and DB. It can do pretty modern, and pretty old school.

I don't think a TFB 2400 is ever gonna happen;)
So, gimme that preamp; pretty please.

Make it ~$500.

Oughta be doable. The Bmax is either cheaper than that, or about that, depending if it comes with a tube or not.

I tell you what I'd kill for... just a 1U Thunderfunk preamp. Jauqo, any thoughts on if that's at all likely somewhere down the road?

There was a thread on this a while back that Dave participated in -- he called it 'Super Sport'.

I think he just didn't have the time to pull it off.
Plus, it's a crapshoot as to what the actual sales would be -- especially in the current economic situation.

If he did one, I'd love to have the money to get one, but short of winning the lottery, I probably wouldn't.
