TI Flats on Amazon for $39.00 + shipping

Ok so I was looking to order some TI flats and this came up. Looks like they are coming from an international seller and won’t be delivered until July 15 but all in it was $48 so that seems like a pretty good deal.

I saw that ad about 2 weeks ago. There was something weird about the way it was worded. They talked about imported items possibly being different than locally sourced products. Kind of scared me away. I'm curious to know if the real deal TI JF-344s come through for anybody, so please post if you get what is advertised.

Mine are supposed to be here next week so I will report in. If they are as advertised I will likely order a couple more as it is about half the normal price. I also can’t tell you how much I love the TI flats. I know they get a lot of love on TB but they truly deserve it. Also a big fan of TI rounds.

Yeah, I though the same thing (see my "accordion parts" comment above)... but @PaulCISSA said the ones he ordered were the real deal so I went for it. I guess worst case scenario is being out $40-$50 which is better than buying an actual bass and getting ripped off. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I was skeptical and suspect of the ad overall, but figured if it was wrong, I was just going to stick Amazon with the problem anyway. Mine were delivered in the old-school packaging shown in the ad, which makes them about 10 years old if not more. I think someone got their hands on a salvage case from a warehouse somewhere. Stuff like that appears randomly on all the seller sites.

Anyway, after stringing up my P-Bass and doing a cursory session, they’re definitely JF344’s. No doubt about it.
