It's not very similar, but somehow your design reminded me of this.

Yeah, definitely a cool looking bass, and it did give me some inspiration

This was my initial design.
I was happy with it for over a year, then took this swamp ash blank, cut it, and didn't like the result.

I decided to go with no horn at all, and chose maple over swamp ash, for a clear look.
