Time for another NoVA/MD/DC GTG

Actually, I meant the 24th, a Sunday.

So anyway, the date is gonna be the 24th of June, starting at 2 PM. Enough pussyfooting around with this, let's have a GTG!

Well this is where it gets tricky, ha.

I am not entirely sure our exact schedule. I know I'm in DC on the 20th, going to Maryland to see Wilco on the 21st, then it's all up in the air. We're going to Northern Virginia (Arlington) to visit family sometime in the trip.

We'll have a rental car so I think I'll be set on transportation. I'm super stoked for it and hope that I can make it!

I've got a decent drumset (early 90's tama grandstar) I could provide if we can get a few good players to show up. I figure it will be a lot easier to sucker a drummer into hanging with a bunch of bass players if he/she dosen't have to set up any gear

Also, for what it's worth, I play drums so it can be a giant rhythm fest, ha.

Might be a decent idea.

The only caveat would be the weather. There's no room for a kit in the shop, so we'd probably set up a tent and PA outside in the parking lot.

Just let me know as soon as possible. I'll be headed in the direction of the shop on the 17th and I could drop it off then. If we don't use it due to weather I'll just grab it afterwards.

If you can bring it to the GTG, that would be better. There's really not ANY space to store a drumset at the moment.

....well, good news/bad news....

After two years of being gigless, I now have a very steady gig.

Unfortunately, I'm gigging the 23rd here in Greensboro, so I'll miss this one.
