Timing out before logging out...

Lately I'm finding that after logging in to TB, and reading through the threads, if I decide to post a reply, I'll discover to my surprise that I've timed out, and must log in, even though I logged in to start. I could understand if I wasn't actively searching, but it is happening quite frequently these days.

I'm on an Apple iMac, using the mac version of FireFox. Anyone have a clue as to why I'm being knocked back to guest status?

It just happened to me again as I tried to post to a thread...:scowl:

refresh more often... it's TB's way of telling you you read too slow...

Actually, I flip back and forth through the threads alot. Usually I'm not spending long periods of time on a single page. In fact, I spent about two minutes composing a post, and when I went to post it, I found I was no longer logged in. It gets frustrating...

preview more often while composing... it'll stop the timeout...

Clear your browser's cookies. Then when you log in, do it from a forum page (not the homepage), and make sure you have the "remember me" box checked.

Thanks Paul. That all makes sense; I'll follow your suggestions and see if that solves the problem.
