Very cool! Don't know how I missed this earlier, but I love it!

Re sound clips - you might try one of those little hand-held digital recorders - you may have a bandmate with one that you could borrow....

How is the volume? The main problem with "regular" ABGs is the low output. I'd love to have an ABG that could actually hold its own against a couple of aggressive guitars!

ctmullins, the volume is a little louder the the average ABG. I built it to be used at gigs so, my main goal was sound not volume. I'll work on getting a sound clip. Tedward

I love this acoustic bass. I was a little turned off to the concept after playing an Ibanez 6 months ago but opened back up to it after playing a Fender Kingman last week.

I immediately smiled when I saw your placement of the hole. It made so much sense in my mind. Let the tone reverberate through the would more and let's the sound escape without your hand getting in the way... I instantly assumed I would love the deep rich tone of your build here and would love to hear it.
