In another thread recently someone was saying how every bass player should be able to do guitar.

I feel better on drums than I ever have on guitar, and would just as soon take up trombone or accordion as tout myself on that little 6-string thing.
But I wish you every success. My advice is more like a request: please be tasty.
Seriously: there's hundreds of guitards in just this small area who will strum away furiously and obliterate any & all "feel". The world needs another one of those like I need another gout attack.
Cats who who can lay it down just right and really scratch the itch? There's about two. And they both get plenty of work.
