It bothers the crap out me. I hate illiteracy; I especially hate deliberate illiteracy.If somebody wants to knowingly misspell "tone" as "toan" for fun, it doesn't bother me.
It's the ubiquitous grocer's apostrophes (and opposites), their/there/they're confusions, spellcheck and speech-to-text errors that get posted because people can't be bothered to reread what they just wrote before posting... writing 65' when they mean '65... 34' when they mean 34"... ellipses instead of commas to make it look like they're not chaining comma splices together when they absolutely are... that all bothers me.
"Toan" is just cute, nonharmful. People will get tired of doing it and move on to something else that annoys you instead.
Why has the word "tone"become stupified to "toan"?
Discuss.
That’s literally so cheugy.tube = "toob"
love = "luv"
cool = "kewl"
agreeable = "based"
excellent = "lit" or "fire"
disrespect = "diss"
people = "peeps"
probably = "prolly"
throw = "yeet"
very much = "hella"
Imma check out now.
I know I wouldn’t walk a mile for it.What about camel toan?

If it’s the right kind, I have. I’m always humpin’ to please.I know I wouldn’t walk a mile for it.![]()
Arthritis is in the fingers too.Tone is in the fingers. Toan is in the expensive useless gear.
And stupification is like Entropy. It's Inevitable.
