Toes hurt like crazy after gig.

Laay night, after the gig, I realized my toes REALLY hurt when I get finished playing. I think my power stance I hold most of the night had me inadvertently pressing down trough my toes rather hard. It literally feels like someone hit them with a hammer.

Anyone ever had this issue? It's in this section because it's kinda funny, I guess

Did anyone video your gig? Were you drinking? Maybe someone WAS hitting your toes with a hammer?
Any odd damage to your gear? Maybe you dropped something on your toes? Perhaps you should invite a podiatrist to one of your gigs. He might be able to help with your power stance or fix you up with corrective footwear?
Otherwise, my toes hurt most of the time regardless of what I may be doing. I feel your pain bro.

I've had similar things happen. Maybe not to my toes, but do my left leg's hamstring and butt cheek, from the way I was standing all night.
Or my back sometimes. So yeah, I get it.

I do that too, and it's the leg with the bad knee that I lean on. Eight years ago I had surgery to remove some of my torn meniscus, which I suspect shortened my leg a bit. I also lean on the same leg when I lecture.

I have sore toes after a gig, even though I always wear comfortable shoes with lots of toe room. I think it's from being pulled forward by the weight of my bass, which has the nice side effect of removing strain from my lower back. I ran the forward-lean idea by my physical therapist, who said I may be right. So if I don't want my back to hurt, I should wear a bass all the time, but my toes will pay. I can't win!

My feet often hurt after a gig, but I realized it's because I've got a tendency to lean on one leg when I play rather than distribute my weight evenly.

Not sure what you did wrong, but try different shoes and try a different stance on stage.
