I caught this in LA earlier this year with me ma, what an incredible show. Very different with some great actors, one of the best plays I've seen.

I've heard several Tom Waits albums but still don't own any, like the chump that I be.

Who is Tom Waits? Where would I hear his music? I only like disco, would I like Tom Waits? And by disco, I mean bad cliche disco.

I laughed my head off when I saw this. I didn't know where to start. First off, if you haven't heard of Tom Waits check him out. It'll take a few to get used to his voice, but man once you do, I can't see why you wouldn't like it.

Yep... the ceiling in the bathroom fell on him. In his typical fashion he downplayed it. The next night Stewart showed a pic of the ceiling, the entire thing fell down.

An amazing "one of a kind" talent! I remember learning "Jersey Girl" back in the eighties. His original version is so much better than Bruce Springsteen's cover. I sing and play bass and that vocal part was a real challenge. He also did a tune about a waitress in a diner that I can't remember the name of right now but I think I'll check it out on the web. He's been around a very long time and has made some great music so if any of you haven't heard his stuff, you really should give it a listen.
