Hello all,
Recently I wired up a guitar for my brother (2 humbuckers, V / T / 3 way). It works great except the tone pot is acting weird--all the way up, it's muted and garbled, roll it back and it sounds fine, roll it back more and it's basically a volume that goes completely quiet. I graduated from The Hillsborough Academy of Detection and Subterfuge, and through that education I know one thing--I did something wrong. Did I do something commonly wrong that is easily diagnosable? Is it a bad pot, or did I use the wrong cap (.47)?
I can eventually get a picture, but not for a bit as I wait for the guitar to come back. What say you all?
