This is why I love Tony Franklin and his bass playing! His version was better than Joe Dart's original because of the fretless fills, slides, and being a lot more liberal with the overall bass line. Tony's liberal playing is missing from the original version. He also kept the choruses in the key of E, which was not the case on the original recording, but it serves the song so much better.
I would love to see one of these videos with James LoMenzo of Megadeth! I would also nominate Frank Bello of Anthrax or DD Verni of Overkill for one of these videos. I would love to see how they would interpret a song like this.
