A Kubicki Factor to die for - (owned by Afaq Ahmed - UAE, courtesy The Kubicki Factor - fb), one very rare all maple Ex-Factor - signed by Phil. The tone must be amazing - most solid/non-laminate Factors were alder bodied w/ebony fb's. Too much maple? - fahgeddabotit!

That is wonderful. I am impressed. May I ask how much went into the materials for it? I noticed in yuor build thread that JIO was right there--he really knows what he is doing also. Wow--you two-------good good stuff. Must be a joy to play with the pickups you chose!

Thanks, I'll guess around $1000.00 in materials - I probably should have kept more accurate records.

While I can admire the style and the craftsmanship - yes, it's too much maple. It's also too many strings, and too many knobs...and it's wrong-handed, too. Other than that, though...
