Tool Tickets

i am not a member, but if you join that "tool army" thing on their webpage, you get advance ticket benefits i believe. if memory serves, there is a fee involved, though.

as for how fast they sell out, if its a huge venue, i would think something would still be available. a while ago i got a pair of them very shortly before the concert, but (i think) thats when they played the staples center two nights in a row.

however, i tried to get tickets for the lateralis tour at the berkeley theater when they were doing a few small shows before the big arena tour. i heard that sold out in under a minute.

OK, so here's what you do. Get a job at the venue selling concessions, cleanup, janitorial, security or whatever they offer you. Show up the day of the concert and prepare for work. As soon as the lights go out for the show, take off your work clothes and run into the crowd and enjoy the show for free.

After it's over, report back to your work station and tell you boss you got trampled by the crowd during the gig and needed medical attention.

Get paid and go to the concert. Win in my book.

It's not that great a live show, you're surrounded by a bunch of brain dead sheep for the most part who can get annoying.
Musically they're spot on though.

It is a great show! What are you talking about, it was the best show I have ever seen in '07. The concert that was held in the Comcast center in Mansfield, MA, I'm neighbors with the concert so I can just walk up to the concert and I can easily get a ticket, but now tool is not playing there and they are playing in NH and ****in ppl buy tickets and they dont even go to them, they just sell them on stubhub.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure Brian Johnson can beat the crap out of the singer dude from Tool. :D

-Mike

Not unless he's learned how to beat up competent, practicing martial artists.

Maynard put a pretty good throw on this guy who came at him from nowhere during the set. He followed up with some disciplined ground control (without hurting the nutbag) and he kept singing into the mic the whole time. :ninja::ninja::ninja:

And that's included in the ticket price! :D
