One would have to be crazy to continue touring with the Foxx. They sound great but the build quality/durability is AWFUL!

Mine must be rare as hens teeth. Previous owner had it longer than I have with no probs. I'm going on 11 years. When I had the backplate off to mount mine, there wasn't much to it.....a circuit and your basic wah stuff that can wear out on any pedal. Everything else build wise is heavy duty but the treadle.

He is using a normal dunlop wah with the tonebender live now. Not sure where he uses the wah anywhere other than The Pot solo.

Yea, he only uses it once for near the end of the Pot.....for the solo he uses his whammy,gt2,flanger,delay,auto wah (I also add the chorus, imo it sounds better)

My rig for rehearsing yesterday. I omitted one of the GK heads and the 4x10, and used the SVT and 810.
Wow, what an improvement.
I have been struggling lately to find a perfect stereo tone while in a full band practice. My clean has not been fitting in.
I'm wondering if it was partly that my 410 has been sitting ground level.....and it was just having those extra 4 speakers sitting higher yesterday that did it.
Next practice I'm going to try the Mesa cab on top of the 212 to see if it makes a difference.

Yep, groundlevel and all you hear is bottom from it.

Wish someone would grab a photo of the new pedalboard setup! I'm going to several shows in November and will do my best if we don't have one before then, although none of my seats are near JC. I'm either floor or center lower bowl. Might be able to sneak over on the way down to the floor. Appears to be some changes though. Looks like a white Boss pedal in the normal wah position.

Quick question for you guys. I'm currently building up my pedalboard and I'm using a Pedaltrain Metro 16 as my foundation. I'm wanting to add some chorus, delay, and maybe a flanger for when I'm jamming out Tool songs for fun. Otherwise, I'm not really a modulation type guy. Since my pedalboard is pretty small, I'm thinking about going all TC Electronic: corona chorus mini, flashback mini, and mini flanger. I'm pretty confident the chorus and flanger will be fine but not sure about the delay. I'll probably only use it for songs like Pneuma and The Grudge where some slight delay is used/needed. Think that would work?

All he uses is an old boss delay, so you should be fine in tuning in that tc similarly.

I use the TC Corona and flashback mini and they work great for TOOL songs

They are still doing The Pot... so it could be a single Baby Wah and use it with the Tonebender like he was with the black Dunlop and Tonebender back in May.

Good point! I can totally see it now that i'm looking at it again. Still can't believe they have been touring since May and we still don't have a full pedalboard shot from this year...

It looks a little more like a baby wah in this pic that just surfaced....but still not good quality
Also he may have put his flanger in a perm line selector and have it always on or ready, or he has added another one of that color. You can see it on the back row.

Since you guys are the experts, can you tell me some notable spots where JC uses Flanger? I know he uses it but I'm not exactly sure where. I'm guessing it's somewhat subtle unlike his use of chorus and delay which is usually pretty obvious.

46 & 2 & Lateralous middle section are the first 2 that come to mind

it is a providence delay. I read in that newer bass player mag interview he used it on the studio. I now want one haha
