TOP 10 BASS SONGS

Probably the wrong forum tbh but hmm, I know Flea gets a bit of stick around here for having bad technique but at least he admits it. Fact is, you can't deny certainly if slap floats your boat that songs like Aeroplane and Stone Cold Bush are great fun to play. Stuff from Uplift Mofo Party Plan and Freakey Style are just great fun for a bassist, nice and funky. Nothing else comes to mind really atm, some songs have their moments eg. the nice bass rundowns in Rufio - Above Me but my brain isn't really working straight tonight. I kinda like some of the James Brown stuff as that has some nice basslines but they're not exactly "lead bass".

Is This It? & Reptilia by The Strokes
Both Are Fairly simple as are most of nikolai's basslines but they all flow and groove so well. Those Two Especially.

Go It Alone off Beck's New Album Guero is also quite nice. Again Fairly Simple but the song wouldn't be the same without it.
Odd Factoid about that line also, It was written by and played by jack white of the the White Stripes.
