Toronto GTG!

JPrinos and I are working on a new GTG date (October) with possibly renting a jam space (Cherry Beach). We'll know better next week, stay tuned...
I like this idea except that Cherry Beach is about the most out of the way rehearsal studio there is!

Ok folks, JPrinos has booked 3 hours (cost of $50) at Cherry Beach starting at 2pm on Saturday, October 17th.
It would help if people could donate $5 (or so) to help out with the jam room booking. There is only 1 bass amp, but privision for other amps to be connected along with a PA and a mixer. Some people may want to bring their rigs with them.

1) Is this a jam session or a meet and greet to play around with each other's gear......or both?
2) Need guitar and drums?
3) Need music?
No problem for me kicking in some bucks. I think we should split evenly amongst those who show up.
Too bad I can't be in T.O. on Oct. 17th. I would join you. However, I have a gig that date here in PA. I know exactly where that location is. I have been trying to find a good time to visit Toronto again and that would be fun to meet some other bass players. Maybe another time.

I can easily bring my bass rig since it's light. I can also bring my guitar and/or get one of the guitar players in our band, as well as our drummer to join us. They're easy going guys and would have allot of fun.
I can also bring a few of my "Fajah Fake Books". It has 54 blues/classic rock tunes in a simple format that everyone should be able to follow.
I'm probably going. I have a rehearsal scheduled for that day but I'll try to persuade my band mates to reschedule.

I'm bringing both my basses; Douglas 825 fretless and Douglas Pisces as well as my LMII and 2 Berg AE112's.
I'll bring my Fretless SX 5-string and my 78 4001 Ricky and maybe a 4 string Yamaha PJ fretless I'm looking to sell or trade.
Just letting everyone know that two of my buddies (and bandmates) are now confirmed for Oct. 17th. So drums and guitar are looked after. I'll have a few copies of my Fajah Fake book with me so that we have some music to jam to. If you want a copy ahead of time, you can download it here:
