Athens, GA...on the way to hear Tinsley Ellis last weekend...

You would simply not believe how cool their rendition of "Long Distance Runaround" was/is!
I thought about goofing around with my camera/phone in an effort to shoot a video...but quickly decided that I'd be richer for taking it in and enjoying the moment.
I'm happy to give money to buskers!
They don't have to be any good at all to get me digging around in my pocket for a couple of bucks. This pair was well worth the $5 I offered!

Surfs Up! My buddy took this with his cell phone and sent it to me yesterday. It was shot on Saturday, Feb, 18th at Ave H in Redondo Beach. We had a big storm swell. The surfer is Alex Gray, a professional surfer and an acquaintance of mine.

Truth is, 'pants on the ground' has nothing to do with why I haven't set foot in The Store in 16 years now.

Was helping my friend clean old her old garage during a move yesterday, and when we moved the last rack of shelving to put in the truck, she noticed a Black Widow spider clung to the bottom. She immediately jumped into defense mode (my friend) with the broom and big killer, but i made her pause for a photo before i took the broom and simply 'rehomed' the spider to the side yard >

Then there was a small army of these Daddy Long Leggers hiding in plain sight above that we left for the landlord to decide their fate >

Spiders are fascinating creatures, though i don't particularly care to share my indoor space with them.

Check out this Peacock Spider ... you can fit 6 of them on a thumbnail, he's colorful & a good dancer (to attract the ladies, of course.) Found only in specific parts of Australia (of course!)
