Don't see them too often in the summer.
Winter mostly as they come down from the hills looking for grub.

I spent a five day on business in San Diego last September. I was amazed at the amount of high rise luxury condos that were being built around the downtown area and waterfront. With that said, San Diego is one of my most favorite cities.

Yeah Downtown S.D. has change a lot over the last 25 years or so (for the better). We even put the new baseball stadium down there

I remember back in the 70's and eighties it was not a place where you really wanted to go. It was a pretty rough part of town

Where did you take that photo? That same exact globe thing sculpture can be found in trinity college in Dublin, Ireland.

Edit: apparently there's loads of these sculptures all around the world. A quick Wikipedia search of "Sphere within a Sphere" provides all the locations.
